Community Survey for Active Wirral and Wirral Council
Thank you for taking part in this important survey, the information gathered in this survey will be used by Active Wirral (Wirral Council),and Sport England/Moving Communities to inform their planning for physical activity and sport in your community.
This survey is intended for individuals aged 16 or over only. Please do your best to answer all the questions below. All data will be securely stored on the Moving Communities Platform and managed in accordance with data protection regulations. Moving Communities undertakes research as part of its function for the community under its legal status. Data protection allows us to use personal data for research with appropriate safeguards in place under the legal basis of public tasks that are in the public interest. We would like to understand more about your level of physical activity. Please answer the following questions about what types of physical activity you do, whether you have used a leisure centre before; and what you think about physical activity.
1. In the past week, on how many days have you done a total of 30 minutes or more of physical activity, which was enough to raise your breathing rate? This may include sport, movement, active hobbies, exercise, and brisk walking or cycling for recreation or travel between places but should not include housework or physical activity that is part of your job. Any such activities performed in bouts of 10 minutes or more, totalling at least 30 minutes for the day should be included.
